Since 1997, and after acquiring its own premises, the society created the dance school.

The space has been completely refurnished and modernised, providing the opportunity for anyone to come along and learn all types of dances, under the expert guidance of professional tutors.

Traditional, folk and modern dance, where groups are formed, based on age, ranging from 5 – 105(!). Transportation is provided free of charge. (With travel insurance)

"Vasilitzia" cultural society has been awarded several prizes at international cultural festivals, not to mention its high profile involvement at a local level, whereby with its continued activities it has helped to preserve Cypriot cultural traditions.

Some of the international festivals where "Vasilitzia" has featured were held in Greece, Finland, Sweden, France, Belgium, Hungary, The Czech Republic, and Malta, to name but a few. At a local level it has taken active part in a substantial number of exhibitions and festivals all over Cyprus.
